The home ministry has sent gifts to high officials of police all over the country on upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr at public expenses.

Each gift-pack includes sari, punjabi, tupi, attar, and a few other items, said a police official upon receiving his gifts.

The home ministry has sent the gifts to officials ranging from additional deputy commissioners (ADC) to inspectors general (IG) under Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Elsewhere, superintendents of police (SP) and officials bearing higher ranks were also on the ministry’s list of gift recipients.
