Tuesday, March 20th, 2007National Board of Revenue (NBR) has found huge amount of undisclosed money in 53 frozen bank accounts."I am not confirm about the total amount of the undisclosed money but the amount is huge," NBR chairman Badiur Rahman told reporters after a meeting with Finance Adviser Mirza Azizul Islam in his office yesterday.Earlier on February 27, NBR asked the commercial banks to freeze bank accounts of 53 former ministers, politicians and businessmen on suspicion that they have evaded huge tax.Freezing the accounts of their parents, spouses and children as well as close relatives were also asked for in the NBR ...
