Govt extends Cabinet Secretary Majumder’s service

The government has extended the service of Cabinet Secretary Ali Imam Majumder for one year on contract, cancelling his leave preparatory to retirement (LPR).

“The fresh appointment will be effective from November 29 or the date of joining,” said an official announcement last night.
