Wonder why we could not sustain that. AL Government under able leadership of Motia Chy had very active Agriculture and food monitoring unit. It manged proper distribution of seeds , fertilizer and other agri input distribution among farmers in time. Our farmers are very hard working and innovative .All they need is proper support. It is unfortunate that we could not sustain our achievement. Just imagine Bangladesh attained self sufficiency in rice production in late 1990s. Wonder why we could not sustain that.
