I would urge all the political parties and the leaders to respect and recognise this date "15th August" as National Mourning Day, and public holiday. I welcome and support the Caretaker government as for their recognition and respect.

Such horrific inhuman act by those culprits must be bought to justice and punished for their crime that they committed on the August 15th 1975. It is unfortunate that our ruling political party leaders did not recognise such important lost for the country and its people.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman wasn't just a great leader, but a brave, lion hearted teacher, who has thought and encouraged Bengali's to fight the enemy for their freedom, from the evil Ayub regime. We must thank and salute him for his brave stand against Pakistan, for the people of Bangladesh today.
